T-Shirt

I recently bought the above T-shirt from the feminist majority foundation website. Although it's a cute raspberry and white color and I do look good wearing it, I have only worn it once and even that time I was quite self-conscious. After that day I kind of felt guilty because it felt like I was ashamed of saying that I'm a feminist, which I'm not. I don't know, i think I'm just not comfortable with wearing something so loud, I'm really not an ALL-CAPS type of person.

In defending my honor, I have decided to first invest in a more low-key feminist shirt and second, instead of wearing the t-shirt on my body, to wear it here on my blog. But since no one can see my face to see "what a feminist looks like", I will give a more comprehensive description of me below. If anyone else who reads this post is interested in doing something similar, please feel free to borrow this shirt and wear it on your blog.

I curse too much.
I like to change children's cartoons so there are more girl characters.
I like Iran.
I am an artist.
I am an engineer.
I'm short.
I'm good looking but not vain.
I am into politics.
I like languages.
I am polite and courteous.
I am better at math than most of the people you know.
I'm getting married this summer.
I'm usually not a pushover.
I'm humble.
I don't like generalizations and stereotypes. It makes me feel funny when I stereotype people.
I'm a procrastinator.
English is my second language.
I get angry sometimes.
I don't think I'm perfect.
I don't think I know everything.
I'm intelligent.
I'm honest.
I don't believe everything I hear.
I am very aware of women's image in the media and popular culture.
I am close to my family.
I'm a PhD student.
I'm not a victim.
I don't care too much for fashion, but I know enough to get into the clubs in LA.
I don't like stupid people.
I don't enjoy long conversations about hair removal.
I don't like it when women stereotype other women in order to sound cool.
I don't like stuffed animals but I do like puppies and other baby animals.
I know I should pick my battles.
